- Obituary - Date 14 or 15 Oct 1996 Fremont, Nebraska paper. Rebecca “Becky” Bade Rebecca “Becky” A. Bade, 78, of Fremont died Sunday, Oct. 13, 1996, at Fremont Area Medical Center. Rebecca Lahmann was born March 21, 1918, in Scribner, where she grew up. She married Carl Bade June 1, 1941, in Scribner. After her marriage, she lived on a farm south of Fremont. She moved into Fremont in 1965. She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont and a member of the church circle. Survivors include her husband; five sons, David (and wife, Willa Mae) Bade, Daniel (and wife, Cindy), both of Fremont, Robert (and wife, Julie) Bade, Samuel (and wife, Barbara) Bade, both of Broomfield, Colo., and Phillip (and wife, Susan) Bade of Lincoln; a daughter, Kathleen Lanza of Waterbury, Conn.; a sister, Dorothy Hutchinson of Sumter, S. C.; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Dana Mark will officiate. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, and one hour prior to Wednesday’s service at the church. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. A memorial has been established to St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont.
