Born in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Audrey Kinlaw Baker. She was twice married, first to the late Clyde McLeod and then to the late Claude Rabon. Mrs. Rabon was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and attended Ashwood Nazarene Church. She was retired from Bosch Braking Systems. Survivors include two daughters, Karen McNair (Truitt) and Lynn Stemba (Bob), both of Sumter; a daughter-in-law, Trish McLeod of Dalzell; grandchildren, Jessica Lee, Erica Blackwell, Christin Dutcher, Brittnay McLeod and Tiffany McNair; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Christmas of Ashwood; a brother, J.W. Baker of Sumter; and stepchildren, Robert Rabon, Johnny Rabon, Claude Rabon Jr., Wayne Rabon, Marie Herbert, Kathy Womble and Leona Adams. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenny McLeod; and four sisters, Peggy Tyler Frazier, Bobbie Holoman, Doris Rucker and Dorothy Baker. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Sammy Geddings and the Rev. T.W. Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Christmas, Jay Baker, Billy Hudson, Rob Tillman, Julius Lee, Michael Brown and Daniel Bethea. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Truitt McNair, 3360 Myrtle Beach Highway.
