Born on Jan. 24, 1938, in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Howard Coy Partin and Ila Belle Meyers Partin. She was a graduate of Edmunds High School and attended Alice Drive Baptist Church. She was a retired sales clerk with Sumter Office Supply with 40 years of service, a preschool teacher with Grace Baptist Church and a cashier with Piggly Wiggly. She will be remembered by friends and family for her loving care and compassion; for she never met a stranger. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Ann Killinger of Jonestown, Pennsylvania, and Candace Elaine Killinger of Sumter; and a son, Arlington "Ricky" Richard Killinger Jr. (Tammy) of Sumter. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Francis Partin; and a sister, Ila Deloris McElveen. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Florence National Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday at the home, 4680 Peach Orchard Road, Rembert. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W.
