| HIST | of Lexington, South Carolina Wallace Plowden Plowden, Wallace Wallace Steinmyer Plowden III LEXINGTON - Wallace Steinmyer "Bubba" Plowden III, 59, husband of Brenda Cherry Plowden, died Saturday, November 7, 2015, at his home. Born March 16, 1956, in Columbia, he was the son of the late Wallace Steinmyer "Son" Plowden, Jr. and the late Janie Raye Odom Plowden. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Sons of the Confederacy, the Little River Hunt Club and he was a member of Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of Lexington; a son, John Wallace Plowden; a daughter, Rayna Plowden, both of Columbia; and a sister, Edith Plowden Yongue (Henry) of Jonesboro, GA. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, November 9, 2015, at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jim Glatz officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the church. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015, in the Manning Cemetery with Mac Johnson officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to General Gathering, 149 N.W. Columbia Court, Chapin, SC 29036. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
