He was chairman of the USDA Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Board for 31 years. In 1992 he received a certificate of appreciation from the S. C. Agriculture Stabilization Conservation committee for 35 years of service to Lee County. He owned White Fertilizaer and was co-owner and president of White and Joyner Trading Company in Bishopville, South Carolina. He remained active in the farming community until his retirement in 1987. at death- she had 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild [1] |
