The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Linda Woodcock of Sumter, and Mrs. Jacquline Woodcock and the late Ralph Philip Woodcock Sr. of Raleigh. N.C., and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry LeVern Bartlette of Sumter, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Troy Curtis Woodcock of Benson, N.C. She graduated from North Greenville University and Francis Marion University. She is employed as marketing director by Alabama Theatre, Myrtle Beach. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Linda Simmons of Loris, and Richard Marchese of Pittsburgh, Pa., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simmons and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Marchese Sr., all of Pittsburgh. He attended North Greenville University and Winthrop University. He is the owner of Sunshine Marketing Inc. and is employed by Wyndham Resorts, Myrtle Beach. Dr. Harold P. Greene Jr. officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Marlene Hodge, organist; and Rose Brown, vocalist. Given in marriage by her brother, Phil Woodcock, and her great uncle, Dargan Hodge, the bride wore a white empire waist linen dress accented with vintage lace and featuring a handkerchief hem and a long shawl draping the neckline. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers with hand-tied ribbon. Mrs. Cindy Fulton and Mrs. Sabrina Woodcock served as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were April Warren and Ellen Calhoun. Robert Marchese served as best man. Groomsmen were Richard Marchese, Craig Bossert and Phil Woodcock Jr. Larry Woodcock Jr. and Henry Lancaster served as ushers. Eli Fulton was the ring bearer. Also participating was Mrs. Delores Lancaster. The bride's family held the reception at the Sumter Gamecock Shrine Club.
