Crane, 91, widow of Donald Crane, died on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at McElveen Manor. Born on Oct. 27, 1924, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Kistler and Minnie Prescott Baker. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. Survivors include three children, Stanley Crane of Sumter, Kenneth Crane of Saginaw, Michigan, and Jenelle Wiley of Lake, Michigan; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Christine Stidd of Sumter; and a brother, Gerald Baker of Florence. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Baker and Claude Baker; and four sisters, Carrie Gray, Vonice Trimnal, Rachel Smith and Lottie Fiore. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Sammy Thompson officiating. Private burial will be in Wells Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lakewood Baptist Church, 3140 Nazarene Church Road, Sumter, SC 29154.
