| HIST | of Oswego, South Carolina Malcolm D. Nesbitt Malcolm Dreyfus Nesbitt, 69, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Robert C. and Edna McElveen Nesbitt. He was a member of Ashwood Baptist Church and was retired from DuPont and the Lee County Landfill. Survivors include two daughters, Sheri D. Nesbitt (Judy G. Carter) of Darlington and Mary Amanda Nesbitt (Connie F. Hall) of Florence; two brothers, Bob Nesbitt (Janet) and Julian Nesbitt (Jo); seven nieces; and four nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, J.W. Nesbitt and Arthur Nesbitt. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Watson officiating. Burial will be in the Ashwood Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and other times at the home, 349 Moore Road, Sumter. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House, PO Box 100551, Florence, S.C. 29502. Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home of Bishopville is in charge of the arrangements.
