Kearney III, along with Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Mouradjian Sr., announce the engagement of their children, respectively, Rebecca Anne Kearney and Michael Paranaz Mouradjian, all of Sumter. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Peggy M. Kearney of Sumter, the late James J. Kearney Jr. of Walkerton, Ind., the late Mrs. Agnes C. Duttlinger of Valpariso, Ind., and Charles J. Duttlinger of Valpariso. She graduated from Sumter High School and expects to graduate May 11, 2006, from Florence-Darlington Technical College with an associate's degree in health science in radiologic technology. She is employed by Tuomey Healthcare System in the Radiology Department. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paranaz Mouradjian of Sumter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cook of Sumter, and the late Jacob T. Fogle. He graduated from Sumter High School and the Sumter County Career Center. He is the owner of M & Sons Masonry. The wedding is planned for June 10, 2006, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Sumter. Rebecca Anne Kearney and Michael Paranaz Mouradjian were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Sumter. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Kearney III of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Peggy M. Kearney of Sumter, formerly of Walkerton, Ind., the late James J. Kearney Jr. of Walkerton, and Charles J. Duttlinger and the late Mrs. Agnes C. Duttlinger of Valparaiso, Ind. She graduated from Sumter High School and Florence-Darlington Technical College. She is employed by Tuomey Healthcare System in the Radiology Department. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Moradjian Sr. of Sumter, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cook, the late Jacob T. Fogle, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paranaz Mouradjian, all of Sumter. Mrs. Florence Flanagan of Sumter is his honorary grandmother. He graduated from Sumter High School and the Sumter County Career Center. He is the owner of M and Sons Masonry. The Rev. Thomas Burke, CSsR, officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Donna Sannwald, organist; and Edward "Buzz" Cornell, vocalist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white, A-line gown adorned with iridescent crystal beading and delicate embroidery and featuring a scoop neck, spaghetti straps and a chapel train. She wore a veil fashioned by her mother from her own wedding veil and carried a bouquet of calla lilies and white roses. Suzie Kearney, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cassie Shadoan, Becky Brian and Lisa Maddy. Kayla Lockett served as flower girl. Rick Moradjian, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jimmer Kearney, brother of the bride, Norman Guerra, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Randy Jones. Nicholas Mouradjian served as ring bearer. Also participating were Lora Bock, Elizabeth Mills, Louise Bock and Annette Doyle. The bride's parents held the reception at the American Legion Building in Sumter. The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at the church hall. Following a wedding trip to Hilton Head Island, the couple resides in Sumter.
