DRAWDY Sr. William Andrew Drawdy Sr., age 61, beloved husband of 38 years to Wanda Pope Drawdy, died Thursday, April 27, 2006, at his home. Mr. Drawdy was born in Walterboro, the son of the late Andrew E. Drawdy and Helen Hiott Drawdy Hamilton. He graduated from Walterboro High School in 1963. He was a retired senior master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force. He worked with security at Tuomey Hospital and at the commissary at Shaw Air Force Base. He loved to fish and garden and loved auto racing. He was a member of Grace Advent Christian in Walterboro. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son, William "Bill" A. Drawdy Jr. and his wife, Kim Lowe, of Sumter; two daughters, Tammy Johnson and her husband, Danny, and Lisa Laux and her husband, Steve, all of Sumter; one sister, Carol Gaskin and her husband, Bill, of Walterboro; and five grandchildren, D.J. Johnson, Cassey Laux, Donnie Johnson, Cameron Lowe and Trace Teal. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Donald Hamilton. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Richardson, the Rev. Jim Tuggle and the Rev. Joseph Lesane officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Dubose, Joe Balwick, Warren Lesane Sr., Randy White, Jack World, Sal LaRocco, Fred Davey, Dr. Mark McGee, Dr. Billy Clowney, Jimmy Scott, Clyde Baker, Steve Berry, Russell Beam and Carl Hawkins.
