• Notes

  Jessie was raised in Connie Maxwell Orphanage in Greenwood, SC after her father died and until her mother remarried. She was the youngest child there and was spoiled by the older girls. When her mother married Larry Hodge, he took her out of the orphanage and raised her. Jessie worked at the Baptist Children's Home in Florence for many years.
