Your site lists Lila Dean as their mother. We know that her name was Lila Gertrude but have no references yet on "Dean" as her surname (my grandmother said it was "Tatum")except circumstantial (there was a Lila Dean the right age 1870 census in the same county where my Lila and James Hodge lived 1880 census). I do have proof, however, that their father was James Elihute Hodge (or Elihute James Hodge). You can find my sources on Rootsweb.com WorldConnect trees, database --- ogm. If you have a source for Lila being a Miss Dean, I'd really like to see it since this is one of my brick walls. Thank you.
