Born November 5, 1922, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Charles Levi Barwick and the late Alice Logan Barwick. She is survived by four daughters, Elaine Strassburg of Little River, Glenda Guillotte (Callie) and June Strickland (Marion), both of Sumter and Donna Nesbitt of Columbia; three sons, Norris Bryant (Debbie) of Lexington, Wayne Bryant (Vickie) of Manning and Danny Bryant of Columbia; two sisters, Lois Poston of Great Falls and Esther Thomas of Manning; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Oliver Bryant, Jr.; a daughter, Leila Alice Bryant; three brothers; and a sister. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryant Family Cemetery on Juneburn Rd. in Manning. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
