| HIST | of Seneca, South Carolina SUSAN MARIA HODGE DAVIS Posted Thursday, April 22, 2021 6:00 am MANNING - Susan Maria Hodge Davis, 72, died on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born on Aug. 9, 1948, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Eugene Hodge and Marie Wells Hodge. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Leland Wylie Davis Jr. (Marie) of Manning; two daughters, Regina Marie Davis of Sumter and Melissa Deanna Holland (Bryon) of Spartanburg; a sister, Geraldine London (William) of Chapin; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and the father of her children, Leland Wylie Davis Sr. of Sumter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Smith; and a grandson, Jacob Thomas Davis. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Vikki Brogdon officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, 5087 Home Branch Road, Manning.
