  Early PeeDee settlers by Gregg list John McIntosh: Children Alexander, Eleanor. Arrived in Pee Dee 1775 — location Welch Tract. son of Alexander A family chart I saw in Charleston SC Historical Society lists the two children above and shows John as "died young' and his child as married to Alexander Norwood. A copy of Reminiscences of Early Life in South Carolina by David Gregg McIntosh with a foreward by J. Rieman Mcintosh of Monkton, Maryland is quite a comprehensive genealogy of Alex brother's John line. I have been unable to locate Riemon McIntosh of Monkton.
