Born in Bishopville, she was a daughter of the late Frank Edward Hall and Jennie Marie Boykin Hall. Surviving are her husband of Sumter; two sons, Donnie (Joan) Davis of Summerton, Arvin "Buddy" (Cindy) Davis of Sumter; three daughters, Jeanette (Bob) Moye, Deborah (Eddie Coker) Frierson, and Judy (Bill) Ardis, all of Sumter; three brothers, Herbert Hall of Chester, Harris Hall of Summerton and Frank J. Hall of Mississippi; one sister, Dorothy Albrighton of Sumter; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 20 step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.. Wednesday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Tanner and the Rev. Donnie Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Zoar Community Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1033 Boulevard Road. Memorials may be made to the Zoar Community Cemetery, in care of Beverly Newman, 1900 Gaymon Road, Sumter, S.C. 29153.
