She graduated from Lakewood High School and attended the University of South Carolina Sumter. She is employed by the University of South Carolina Sumter. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Johnson Mack and the late Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Hinson Timmons of Sumter, and the late Mr. Calvin Harold and the late Mrs. Mavis Nystel Olson of Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated from Lakewood High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College, Nashville, Tenn. He is employed by Ryder Transportation and Logistics, Columbia.
