Mrs. Smith was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Allen E. Smith and wife, Teresa, of Elizabethton; two daughters, Shirley Ann McCollister of Sumter and Patricia Ridgeway and husband, Boyd, of Surfside Beach; three brothers, Jessie Hudson of Sumter, Tommy Hudson and Mike Bochette of Orangeburg; one sister, Catherine Craft of Sumter; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. David Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Wells Cemetery.
