| HIST | DELORIS EVANS RICHARDSON Posted Friday, July 7, 2023 6:00 am Deloris Evans Richardson, 68, wife of James A. Richardson Jr., died on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Wesley Evans and Lois Eudell Little Evans. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Pinewood Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Cindy Broadway (Carl) and Heather Richardson (Andy); two sons, Jamie Richardson (Tianna) and Brandon Richardson (Virginia); seven grandchildren, Allie Broadway, Allan Lynch, Susan Hedgepath, James Richardson IV, Miles Richardson, Carson Richardson and Reese Richardson; one great-grandchild, Colt Engel; two brothers, SK Evans (Julie) and Brent Evans (Angie); and one sister, Rose Evans. She was preceded in death by one brother, Brooky M. Evans; and one nephew, Kee Evans. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Pinewood Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Brian Gray and the Rev. Bennie Barwick. Burial will follow at Pinewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at her home. Memorials may be sent to Pinewood Baptist Church, P.O.
