The bride is the daughter of David Earle DuBose and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Bryan DuRant Sr., all of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward MacDonald DuBose Sr. of Sumter, Mrs. Aline Robertson McIntosh and the late Plummer Luther McIntosh of Bishopville, and Dr. and Mrs. Eddie Carroll DuRant Sr. of Sumter. She graduated from Thomas Sumter Academy and Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse employed by Palmetto Health Richland in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Joe DuBose and the late Alton Raymond Neese, all of Lugoff, and the grandson of Mrs. Jean Gordon Wheat and the late John Ray Wheat of Watkinsville, Ga., and Mrs. Grace Rich Neese and the late Raymond Pearce Neese of Columbia. He graduated from Thomas Sumter Academy and Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in economics. He is employed by the cash management department of First Citizens, Columbia. The Rev. Harold Lewis officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Harry Joe DuBose, guitarist; Julianna Cobb, bass guitar; and Mrs. Deanna Patterson Cobb, percussion / harmonica. Given in marriage by her father, Mr. DuBose, the bride wore a strapless princess gown overlaid with satin floral lace, adorned with illusion fabric covered with pearls, beads and swarovski crytals, and featuring an empire waistline accented with a satin ribbon tied in a offset bow, and a chapel train. Christa Ann Koon served as maid of honor, with Mrs. Adriane Cushman Potter as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Elizabeth Reese, Lauren Katherine Hayes, Amanda Grace Oswald, Kathryn Blair Mika and Kimberly Dyan Parker. Emma Cecile Neese and Madeline Grace Neese served as flower girls. Daniel Roy Neese served as best man. Groomsmen were Bradly Raymond Neese, Curtis Garrett Edens, John Patrick Reilly III, John Douglas Nunn III, Philip Rayland Hammond, John Cunningham England II and Charles Joseph Neese. The reception was held at Litchfield Plantation Carriage House. The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom’s parents at Louis’s, Pawleys Island.
