Born Jan. 11, 1928, in Lamar, she was a daughter of the late Ollie and Fannie Hanson Windham. Mrs. McCoy was retired from Campbell Soup Co. Surviving are five sons, Darryl McCoy and wife, Hattie, Larry McCoy and wife, Vickie, Jerry McCoy, Ollie McCoy and Tony McCoy and wife, Lynn, all of Sumter; a sister, Lois Lee of Pontiac; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda F. McCoy. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Pastor Vic VanRas officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be grandsons, T.J. McCoy, Justin McCoy, Shane McCoy, Brandon McCoy, Chris McCoy, Allen McCoy and Jerry McCoy Jr. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2708 Ezell Court.
