Mrs. Green was born September 4, 1916, in Barnwell County, SC. She was a daughter of the late Marion Otis and Mammie Zissett Creech. She was a retired school bus driver with the Richmond County School system. She was a member of Barton Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved genealogy, reading and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Mole Funeral Home chapel, Barnwell SC, with the Rev. Harry Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Barnwell Co. Memorial Cemetery at the airport. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Survivors include her son, Hennis Z. (Barbara) Green of Augusta GA; daughters, Joan G. Jones of Augusta GA, and Johnnie Ruth (Keith) Anderson of Asheville NC; sister-in-law, Eva Mae Creech of Barnwell SC; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Hennis Creech, Coley Creech Sr. and Wilbur Creech; sisters, Sadie Birt, Katherine Grimes and Marie Singletary.
