Born in Darlington County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Allen Harris and Nannie Doriety Harris. Mrs. Goff was a member of St. Andrew Church of God. Survivors besides her husband include three children, Ronnie Goff (Michelle), Angie Effler (Charles) and Robbie "Clyde" Goff (Gloria); six grandchildren, Chuck Effler, Kelly Goff, Betty Jean Bala, Cody "Dakota" Goff, Alex Bramlett and Wendy Rupert; six great-grandchildren, Devin Summers, Bryana Summers, Shelby Bramlett, Jordan Bramlett, Erik Skipper and Jessica Rupert; two brothers, James Harris (Vertie) and Jeff Harris (Julie); three sisters, Annette Ardis (Roy), Elizabeth Rowland (Dennis) and Louise Miller; a special niece, Denise Small (Allen); a special nephew, Lee Ardis (Deana); and a special grand-nephew, Jordan Small. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Kenneth Parnell. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew Church of God with the Rev. Frank Ramey and the Rev. Mike Parnell officiating. Burial will be in the St. Andrew Church of God cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alex Bramlett, Johnny Logan, Chad Beasley, Allen Small, Lee Ardis and Chris Stokes. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Christian Fellowship Sunday School Class of St. Andrew Church of God. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and other times at the home of her husband.
