Born July 8, 1970, in Camden, he was a son of the late Thomas O. Foxworth Sr. and the late Carolyn Patricia Bowers Foxworth. Ray attended Smithville Pentecostal Church. He was formerly employed by SCDOT of Camden and more recently by Mark Anthony Brewing. Ray enjoyed cooking and watching football. He loved any kind of racing, especially drag racing and dirt track racing. Survivors include a son, Zachary Foxworth (Caitlyn); a daughter, Allison Weatherly (Richard); a granddaughter, Harper Foxworth; two brothers, Thomas O. Foxworth Jr. (Teresa) and Chris Foxworth (Mandy); and a sister, Jennifer Waynick (Ben). Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Morris. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Ray, Paul Bailey, Gavin Foxworth, Samuel Sanders, T.J. Carter and Dylan Shepard. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smithville Pentecostal Church, c/o Jimmy Baker, 225 Pinecrest Drive, Sumter, SC 29153.
