The family will receive friends Saturday 11-12 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mrs. Dodson, wife of the late Joseph Coleman Dodson, died Thursday, February 5, 2009. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Dora Faile Catoe. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Columbia. Surviving are sons and their wives, Ronald and Pat Dodson and Larry and Becky Dodson, both of Columbia; grandchildren, Cliff Dodson, Brad Dodson, Greg Dodson and Joel Dodson, and Lindsey White; and great-grandchildren, Bennett White, Ella White and Brooke Dodson. She was predeceased by brothers, Roy Catoe and Ferris Catoe, and sisters, Catherine Byrd and Beulah Barfield. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1306 Hampton St., Columbia, SC 29201.
