RIMINI - Medford Henry Eston "Jack" Dennis, 76, husband of Janet Elaine Pender West Dennis, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, in Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born Jan. 17, 1935, in Alcolu, he was a son of the late Louie Priestley Dennis and the late Mary Ethel Logan Dennis. He was a retired welder and was of the Holiness faith. He is survived by his wife of Rimini; a son, Richard Dennis of Summerton; two daughters, Donna Faye (Allen) Morris of Sumter and Sandra Kay (Cecil) Smith of Turbeville; a stepdaughter, Shannon West of Santee; a sister, Linda Friel (Rudolph) Barkley of Pinewood; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, the Rev. Louie Dennis and Richard R. Dennis; two sisters, Dorothy McLeod and Doris Thigpen; and a son, Robert Bill Dennis. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning with the Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Linda Barkley, 3857 Pinewood Road, Pinewood. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
