"Johnny Boy" Wilson, 80, husband of Louise Christmas Wilson, died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at McCoy Memorial Nursing Center. Born in Winnsboro, he was a son of the late John and Lillie Mae Christmas Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Bishopville Masonic Lodge. He was retired from DuPont. Survivors include his wife; three children, Cynthia Wilson Brown, Randy Wilson (Nancy) and Elaine Farmer (Donald); two stepchildren, Linda Bair (Al) and Kenny McElveen (Carolyn); two sisters, Martha Jackson and Gladys Hendrix; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joy Arrants Wilson; a granddaughter, Becky Brown; a great-grandchild, Barrett Wint; two brothers, Lawrence Hinson and Theodore Wilson; and a sister, Lillie Mae Boykin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Sim Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and other times at 97 Johnson Pond Road.
