| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina Genevieve L. Brown Genevieve Lillie Brown, 64, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Lee County, she was a daughter of Lois DuBose Brown and the late Jerome Brown. She attended Smithville Evangelical Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother of Sumter; and four brothers, Larry Brown (Tammy) of Washington, N.C., Dean Brown (Toni) of Lumberton, N.C., and Glen Brown (Connie) and Clyde Brown, all of Sumter. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Morris and the Rev. Freddie Gaymon officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Brown, Steven Windham, Don Smith, James McLeod, Jonathan Baxley and Mike Barkley. The family will receive friends at the home of her mother. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
