  HIST	Eunice Haltiwanger Hamm   |   Visit Guest Book SUMTER - Eunice Elizabeth Haltiwanger Hamm, 86, widow of Carl A. Hamm, died Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Covenant Place. Born in Newberry County, she was a daughter of the late George L. Haltiwanger and Mildred Kinard Haltiwanger. Mrs. Hamm was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and had retired from Sears. Surviving are four sons, Ron Hamm (Linda) of Mosheim, TN, Larry Hamm (Brenda) of Sumter, Keith Hamm (Cindy) of Dalzell, and Steve Hamm (Susan) of Sumter; two daughters, Linda Evans (Tom) of Greenwood, and Pam Blake of Sumter; four brothers, Ed Haltiwanger (Betty), Henry Haltiwanger (Daphine), Mickey Haltiwanger (Mary), all of Newberry, and Jimmy Haltiwanger (Beth) of Silverstreet; one sister, Mackey Satterfield (Don) of Hodges; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Haltiwanger, and a sister, Dot Hamby. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. James Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Tony Metze officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of Steve and Susan Hamm, 365 Wildwood Ave., Sumter.
