Windham, 53, of Columbia, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at Palmetto Health Baptist. Born Nov. 2, 1957, he was a son of the late Gus Windham and the late Elizabeth Harrington Windham. Mr. Windham graduated from Manning Christian Academy with honors and was a former firefighter for the City of Sumter, which he had a passion for until the end. He was employed by Stanick Sheet Metal and Roofing of Columbia as an estimator. Randy loved all sports, baseball, football, and NASCAR, to name a few. Dale Earnhardt was his favorite. He leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Celia Elizabeth Windham of Manning; three grandchildren, Ethan, Lucas, and Abbigale; a sister, Judy Wadford (Wayne) of Sumter; three nephews, Rusty, Wyman, and Todd Windham; and three nieces, Tammy, Beth, and Lynn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, T.W. Windham. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Green Acres Assembly of God with the Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery. Employees of Stanick Sheet Metal and Roofing will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister, 1000 Mana Dr. Memorials may be made to Green Acres Assembly of God, 537 Lewis Road, Sumter, S.C. 29154 or to Smithville Evangelical Baptist Church, c/o Jimmy Baker, 225 Pinecrest Dr., Sumter, S.C. 29153.
