The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilkie, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wilkie and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Felder, all of Sumter. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of arts degree. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Michael Joos Sr. of Sumter, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Joos and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burton, all of Summerville. He graduated from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the United States Air Force. Pastor Charles Owens officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Cheryl Felder, pianist and vocalist; and Suzanne Rickard, vocalist. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a satin and tulle asymmetrical pick-up gown with a pleated surplice bodice, beaded embroidered lace and a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of hot pink and orange Gerber daisies with white and yellow roses in a hand-tied bouquet. Abby Wilkie, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, with Amanda Joos, sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaid. Junior bridesmaids were Aubrey Rickard, Caroline Felder, Katie Vining and Kimberlee Shook. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Micky Lloyd and Brad Dickerson. Ushers were Zachary Rickard, Will Felder, Jacob Vining and Tripp Wilkie. The bride's parents held the reception in the church fellowship hall. The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom's parents. Following a wedding trip to Asheville, N.C., the couple will reside in Alamogordo, N.M.
