The bride is the daughter of Joan A. Caraway of Dalzell and Jeff D. Caraway of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Louise Polito and the late Frank Polito, C.D. Caraway, and the late Harry and Jeanette Atkinson, all of Sumter. She graduated from Sumter Christian School and attended Central Carolina Technical College. She is employed by Sumter Physical Therapy. The bridegroom is the son of Deborah Worrell Prescott-Newman and the late Tony Michael Prescott of Sumter, and the grandson of Mrs. Erma Prescott and the late Ervin Prescott, and the late Geraldine and Jack Worrell, all of Sumter. He graduated from Sumter High School and attended Central Carolina Technical College. He is employed by A&P Recycling Co. The Rev. Ron Bower and Sumter County Judge of Probate Dale Atkinson officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Sonja A. Sepúlveda, organist; Mary M. Ford, violinist; and Marty and Jamie Atkinson, vocalists. The bride wore a sleek and elegant white satin princess, trumpet gown by Casablanca adorned with pleats along the bodice and impecabbly designed beadwork trim on the bodice and skirt, two satin bands accenting the hemline, and a train with satin covered buttons and crystal beadwork. She carried a French hand-tied bouquet of white roses, white hydrangeas and white mini calla lilies accented with babies breath and yellow wax flowers wrapped with sheer ribbon. Christina Marie Guest served as maid of honor, with Paige Easley Timmons as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Elizabeth Prince and Audrey Ann Atkinson, cousins of the bride, Amber Jo Barnette, Cheryl Ann Braxton and Erika Siobhan Cosme. Isabelle Maree Parimuha and McKinney Laten Atkinson served as flower girls. Groomsmen were Cameron Parker Prescott and Christopher Carter Prescott, brothers of the bridegroom, Jefferson Daniel Caraway Jr., brother of the bride, Joshua David Jacob, Chadwick Shay Coker, James G. Harvin, Lawson Haynes Barrr III, cousin of the bridegroom, and Jason Matthew Hayden. Nathan Brogdon Parimuha and Nolan Christopher Lamb served as ring bearer. Also participating were Fields Montgomery Thomas, Gavin Samuel Lamb, Judy Overstreet, Mary Frances Floyd, Ann G. Geddings, Virginia Atkinson and Kelly Atkinson. The bride's parents held the reception at the church fellowship hall. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Newman held the rehearsal party at the church fellowship hall.
