Mrs. Roach was born in Barnwell County on January 15, 1941. She was the daughter of the late John Floyd and Giulia Still Creech. She was a retired employee of Shuron Inc and Sara Lee Corp. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Friend Ship Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Tuesday at Friendship Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening , 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Howard B. Roach Jr. of Barnwell, SC; daughter and son in law, Cynthia D and Mike Beasley of Blackville; son and daughter in law, Gordon and Heather Defreest of Barnwell; sisters, Delores McDonald Fail of Barnwell and Bobbie Jean (Sonny) Proveaux of Olar; brother, Rev. Wilbur (Myrtle) Creech of Barnwell; grandchildren, Dustin, Logan and Dalton Beasley, Kayden and Charlee Defreest. She was predeceased by her brother and sister in law, Fulmer and Alice Creech.
