| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina I think that she married an Eton. jkh MARY ETTA ETON Posted Saturday, February 15, 2020 6:00 am Mary Etta Eton, 81, died on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Jerry C. and Mary Etta Davis Sanders. Mrs. Eton was a member of Sumter First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a retired commercial cleaner. Surviving are a son, David Eugene Nesbitt (Tonya) of Columbia; a sister, Christine Spigner of Sumter; two brothers, Beauford Sanders and James C. Sanders; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sumter First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Paul Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
