Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Manton L. and Janie L. Watford Reddick. Mrs. Miles was retired from Bright Beginnings Daycare. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three children, Betty J. Drayton, Kathy Miles Hatfield (Jimmy) and Jimmy L. Miles (Debbie), all of Sumter; four grandchildren, Frank W. Drayton (Stephanie), Katie Boyle, Andrew Miles and Matthew Miles; two great-grandchildren, William A. Boyle V and Elizabeth A. Boyle; and three sisters, Shirley Turner and Patricia Reddick, both of Florence, and Jackie Miles of Timmonsville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Holley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jimmy and Kathy Hatfield. Memorials may be made to Northside Memorial Baptist Church, 1004 N. Main St., Sumter, SC 29153. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
