The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Louis Pope Jr. of Dalzell, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Titus Gail Welch and the late Harold C. Welch, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Louis Pope Sr. and the late Nora Katherine Pope, all of Sumter. She graduated from Crestwood High School and is majoring in nursing at Central Carolina Technical College. She is employed by Kmart of Sumter. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Lamar Reece Sr. of Wedgefield, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Watford Sr. of Sumter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eddie B. Reece of Georgia. He graduated from Lakewood High School and is majoring in megatromics at Central Carolina Technical College. He is employed by Sumter Packaging. The Rev. Mark James Huggins officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Tara Henderson Conyers and Katherine Harris Watford, soloist. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a princess dress with a sleeveless beaded bodice and carried a white bouquet with silver ribbons. Candace Brooke Pope served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miranda Rae Rivers and Kayla Ellen Welch. Krystal Marie Speziale served as flower girl. Eddie Lamar Reece Jr. served as best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Caleb Reece and Charles Christopher Roark. Wyatt Christian Watford served as ring bearer. Also participating were Doris McLeod, Jeanee Edwards, Janice McCathrin, Linda McCoy, Melissa Moses, Joyce Norton, Amaris Ray-Pope, Kayla Shirah and Willis Watford. The reception was given by the bride's parents at New Testament Lighthouse Church Fellowship Hall. The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom's parents at Freedom Worship Fellowship Hall.
