• Notes

Granny Crouthers was a wonderful woman she raised me and I loved her like a mother. She loved to go places she loved to read and she would sit up late at night and read and cut out things from the newspaper. She was a wonderful cook, a great mother to her children and grandchildren and taught us moral values. She was a good seamstress and loved to crochet. She died at the age of 87 of hardening of the arteries. She also had Diabetes which she controlled with diet. Joan Linam She was Baptized with her sisters Nellie and Nora on Easter Sunday 1904, Reverend Reitz First Christian Church of Pittsburg Kansas
