| HIST | BRENDA JOYCE LOVELACE DRIGGERS Posted Saturday, August 28, 2021 6:00 am Brenda Joyce Lovelace Driggers, age 69, beloved wife of the late Willie Driggers, died on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Dillon, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie and Eva Hyatt Lovelace. Mrs. Driggers was a faithful and dedicated member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving are four children, William Driggers of Louisville, Kentucky, Johnny Driggers of Sumter, Mike Driggers and his wife, Denise, of Manning and Diana Purvis and her wife, Kimberlee, of Shelby, North Carolina; three brothers, Douglas Lovelace and his wife, Janie Lou, of Timmonsville, Donald Lovelace of Sumter and Wayne Lovelace of Darlington; three sisters, Diane Felder and her husband, Willard, Mary Hice and her husband, Danny, and Martha Kelly and her husband, Mike, all of Sumter; and five grandchildren, Haley and Kayla Driggers, Amber and Danielle Driggers and Douglas Nesbitt III. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Monday at Bullock Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mary and Danny Hice, 10 Haile St., Sumter, SC 29150.
