| HIST | There is no way I can figure this family out. He has parents and bonus parents- and 5 sets of grandparents? jkh COLTON CLARK Posted Saturday, January 29, 2022 6:00 am Colton Sanders Clark leaped out of his wheelchair and ran into the arms of Jesus on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at the tender age of 12. He was born on March 4, 2009, to Stacie and Terrance Clark as a wonderful surprise from the Lord. Colton had a profound way of sharing the gospel without ever saying a word. He taught everyone he came in contact with how to love big and without limitations - the way Jesus does. His beautiful blue eyes would light up even the biggest of rooms. Colton touched countless lives and was loved deeply by his family and friends. He fought the good fight and he finished his race. His big heart, along with several other lifesaving organs, were donated to other children before Colton ascended into heaven. Where Colton is now is where we all want to be; but until then, his family will press on until the day they can reunite with their beautiful, strong and brave boy. Colton is survived by his parents, Stacie Clark and bonus dad Travis Combs as well as Terrance Clark and bonus mom Kim Clark. In addition to his parents, Colton leaves behind grandparents Kim and George Tedder, Paula and Ron Jennings, Ronnie and Carol Whitfield, Terry and Kate Ballenger and Kenn and Cathy Ouzts; three sisters, Kynlee, Eliza and Harlow; two brothers, Aiden and Ezra; special aunt and uncle, Kim and Aaron Whitfield; uncles, Kenny Ouzts, Taylor Ouzts and Paul Geddings; aunts, Katt Smith and Mandy Geddings; and 13 cousins, including a very special cousin, Mya Lee. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Prisma Health Children's Hospital in Columbia. The care provided was unmatched, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure Colton and his family were well taken care of. A celebration of life is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sunday at First Church of God, 1835 Camden Highway, Sumter, SC 29153. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Child Life Services at Prisma Children's Hospital, 7 Richland Medical Park Drive, Columbia, SC 29203. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus says, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." You may go to www.bullockfuneralhome.com and sign the family's guest book. The family has chosen Bullock Funeral Home for the arrangements. [1] | |
