Born Aug. 8, 1956, in Sumter, he was the son of the late Johnny Edward Brown Sr. and the late Emma Lou Welch Brown. Mr. Brown was a foreman with the Asplundh Tree Expert Company. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish, loved the Lord and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Nicole Brown Holliday (Bradley); one son, Matthew Brown; three grandchildren, Jazmine Brown, Stormy Brown and Samuel Brown; one sister, Debbie Rodgers; and one brother, Mark Brown. Funeral service will be held at noon Friday, June 6, 2025, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Danny Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the Paxville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brad Holliday, John Canty, Mark Brown, Philip Rodgers, Christopher McLeod and Dean Brown. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter.
