Born in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Romero and Evelyn Roos. Surviving are five sons, Michael Baker (Karen), Richard Pampel (Sabrina), Ronald Pampel (Margaret), Lawrence Toomey (Victoria), Raymond Toomey (Robin); a daughter, Annette Nunes (Gary); a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, April Lynn Pampel and a daughter-in-law, Debra Ann Pampel. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, November 8, 2024, at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery.
