Geneve Rucker "Bee Bee" Hyman COLUMBIA Funeral service for Geneve Rucker "Bee Bee" Hyman, 86, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 10 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Hyman died Monday, January 5, 2015. Born in Swansea, she was a daughter of the late Clifton Rucker and Mary Caroline Bailey Rucker. She graduated from Lower Richland High School and worked as a secretary at Cooper Cass and as a clerk for S.C. Department of Internal Revenue. Mrs. Hyman was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church where she worked in the church nursery. She was also an extraordinary seamstress, loved her family and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are her daughters, Sandra Johnson (David) Newnan, Ga., Kathy Harris of Greenville; grandchildren, Luci Meador Anglin (Terry) of Jackson, Miss., Goffery Hawkins of Hendersonville, N.C., Loren Noles (James) of Newtown, N.D.; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Goffery Eugene Hyman; sisters, Lucretia Christmas and Genova Abbott.
