Horris DeWitt was the twin brother of my father Morris DeWitt. Both are now deceased. I have been doing research on the DeWitt family from Jesse Sterling DeWitt and Hattie L Ward DeWitt (my grandparents) back to Charles DeWitt Sr. Charles DeWitt Sr. was born in Virginia in 1723 and married Sara Troublefield in 1743 in Marion District, SC.
