CORBETT Sr. MANNING -- John Ashley Corbett Sr., 67, husband of JoAnn Squires Corbett, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Providence Hospital in Columbia. Born April 14, 1938, in Manning, he was a son of the late John Allen and Ola Thigpen Corbett. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Manning, a member of St. Peter's Lodge No. 54 and the owner and operator of Quality Printers in Manning. Surviving besides his wife of Manning are a son, John Ashley Corbett Jr. and wife, Von, of Manning; two daughters, Kathy Kline and husband, Richard, and Sharon Pollard and husband, Al, all of Columbia; five sisters, Mary Lotwis and husband, Bill, Johnnie Mae Repsher and husband, John, and Helen Weeks, all of Manning, Virginia Brago of Goose Creek and Lois Kennedy and husband, Kenneth, of Kingstree; five grandsons, Corey and Chase Corbett, Will and Drew Lowman and Zachary Kline; four granddaughters, Ella and Anna Kline, Taylor Lowman and Summer Corbett. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Manning First Baptist Church with the Rev. Pec Chatham officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Cemetery. The family will receive friends today at the residence, 5205 Silver Road, Manning.
