| HIST | Hymbrick was found on the 1820 Census of Opelousas County, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. Hymbrink was the executor of the estate of his Uncle Robert Singleton in 1821. Sumter County, S.C. Book FF-124. Power of Attorney: “I, Hymbrink Singleton of the State of Louisiana and Parish of St. Landry, appoint my brother Seth Singleton of afore said Parish for me and in my name, etc., what may be due to me as Heir of John Singleton, deceased, my father, and to settle and liquidate any claim against me or owing me, that may be due me through my deceased wife, Mary Robertson, from the estate of Willis Robertson, 29 Oct 1821.” Recorded 14 Dec 1821. It is believed that Hymbrink Singleton died between 1821-1824 in St. Landry Parish. [1] | |
