If Christine was born in 1926 how could this Larry Blake Hodge be born in 1950 and be her grandson? I am going to put this Larry Blake Hodge with what his obituary says, he’s the son of Nay and Christine McLeod Hodge. I will leave the other Larry Hodge, who is the husband of Harriett also, as being the son of Nay and Christine also. Posted Tuesday, January 18, 2022 6:00 am Larry Blake Hodge Sr., husband of Harriett Brown Hodge, died on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at his home. Born on May 8, 1950, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Nay and Christine McLeod Hodge. Mr. Hodge was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved the outdoors and hunting. He was a long-time member of the Sportsman Hunting Club. He loved auto racing and helped many in their racing endeavors. Survivors include his wife of 51 years; a son, Blake Hodge (Ashley) of Varnville; a grandson, Trace Hodge; two aunts, Doris Windham and Audrey McLeod, both of Sumter; and a number of nephews, nieces and cousins. A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. on Monday in the Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The Rev. John Bauknight officiated. Honorary pallbearers were members of Sportsman Hunting Club. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorials may be sent to Shepherd Center, 2020 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30309-1465.
