Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Hubert and Jessie Lee Benenhaley. Mr. Benenhaley loved hunting and fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves fan. He was a member of the Big Bucks Hunting Club in Pinewood. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Timothy Benenhaley (Danielle), Samantha Geddings (Rick), Keely Benenhaley (Christian) and Cole Benenhaley (Francesca); eight grandchildren, Braylen Benenhaley, Stephanie McDougald, Caleb Benenhaley, Olivia McDougald, Camila Benenhaley, Kallie Brown, Leyla Benenhaley and Evelyn Trudel; one sister, Ester Sharpe (Rodney); three brothers, Robert Benenhaley, Stanley Benenhaley (Vanessa) and Pete Benenhaley; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church.
