Sallie was a woman of Faith and was very active in her church’s senior group as well as working with the youth of the church from the nursery to the GAs. She enjoyed preparing lessons and creating crafts for the children sharing the message of the Bible. Over the past couple of years she would crochet crosses that were given to people that she met and family members. It was most recently that her little cross ministry began being shared all over the world by sending them with the missionaries, this brought her great joy. She enjoyed sewing dresses and little pants and salvation dolls that she would give to the church to send overseas also sending her crosses to the troops who were deployed. This is a small testament to the wonderful loving and caring person she was the servants heart she had for the Lord, her family and the world. She loved her family with all her heart and found great pleasure in spending time with them. Our hearts will forever ache and miss her here on earth, but we will forever cherish the love and the memories of her always. Sallie was a member of Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church, where she was involved in many of the church activities. Sallie was married to the late T.J. Horner.
