| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina ELIZABETH B. TILLER Elizabeth Brearley Heriot Tiller, 80, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, S.C. Born Aug. 29, 1930, in Lee County, she was the daughter of the late George Kirkpatrick and Elizabeth Wilson Brearley Heriot. Mrs. Tiller was a retired registered nurse and worked at Tuomey Hospital, Cyprus Nursing Facility and National Health Care of Sumter. Mrs. Tiller was a member of Swan Lake Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Jane (B.J.) Tiller and Sally Wray Tiller, both of Anderson; one sister, Mary Frances Heriot Coker and husband, Joe, of Turbeville; one sister-in-law, Mary Milford Heriot of Mayesville; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, James Wray Tiller, and her brother, George Kirkpatrick Heriot Jr. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Mayesville Black River Cemetery with Dr. Wm. H. "Rusty" Wilson III officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home, 221 Broad St., Sumter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mayesville Black River Cemetery Association, c/o Heath Watson, P.O. Box 441, Mayesville, S.C. 29104.
