Eaddy MURRELLS INLET - Warren Hutson Eaddy, age 86, of Grant Circle, died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Born in Hemingway, SC, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary Eaddy, Sr. Mr. Eaddy was educated in the Hemingway Public Schools and graduated from Clemson University. In 1946 he received his masters degree from Clemson in Vocational Agriculture. He worked for Clemson Extension Service and then went to work with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farmers Home Administration. Mr. Eaddy was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Indiantown Masonic Lodge #165 where he taught vocational agriculture for a period of time and a member of Murrells Inlet Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Grant Eaddy of Murrells Inlet; sisters, Louise E. Jacobs of Georgetown, Lucia E. McLane and Dell Cuttino, both of Charleston; and brother-in-law, Robert E. Lee of Palo Alto, CA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Murrells Inlet Presbyterian Church with Reverend Thomas J. Thornton officiating. Burial will be private. Family will receive friends Friday, July 31, 2009, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. Sign an online guestbook at www.goldfinchfuneralhome.com.
